My Story

After moving from London to France in 2019, I spent four years in the Alps running a ski chalet business. When I sold the company in 2023, I took stock of where I was and what I wanted from the next chapter of my life. Instead of returning to a familiar career, I decided to take a leap and become a potter.

It was a decision driven by both head and heart. I realised there would never be a better time to pursue something I truly wanted to do rather than something I felt I had to do. Having studied art and design and taken pottery classes in the past, ceramics had always held a fascination for me. Working with clay offered a different kind of challenge: tactile, creative, and deeply rewarding. The rhythm of the wheel and the patience required by the kiln felt like the perfect counterpoint to the fast pace of my previous life.

The journey has been humbling. Every piece teaches me something new, and every failure is part of the process. Yet there is immense satisfaction in creating handmade objects that people can use and enjoy every day. Pottery wasn't an escape - it was a reorientation towards creativity, craftsmanship, and a slower, more intentional way of living.

I don't know exactly where this path will lead, but I'm committed to it for the long haul. Every pot I make is part of that journey, and I'm delighted to share it with you.
